This is my first entry in Blogger. I was using a different blogging site, but found it very difficult to customize (may be because I am not a tech-savvy person).
This is meant to be a place where I share my crochet, knit and other handmade adventures. I do a lot of stuff, but most of it is crochet, I do not know why and how I end up there! :)

This is a scarf I am crocheting for my grandpa on his birthday. Crocheted in wool from a local yarn store with a 6mm crochet hook, it is waffle stitch all along. I used the same stitch in my granny square top which is displayed here and here.
I fell in love with the texture of the waffle stitch instantly and decided to start a scarf with the same yarn which I had aplenty!
I am so sure that the scarf has the warmth that would make my grandpa happy.
